Programs & Services

Clinic-Based Therapy

We have a variety of equipment and treatment areas in our 4,000 square foot facility. We have a fully equipped sensory-motor area, a fitness center, private treatment rooms and even an indoor playground!

Wheelchairs, Adaptive Equipment, & Home Modifications

We are a preferred provider of evaluations for wheelchairs, adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and home safety in the state of New Hampshire － for both children and adults. We also have on-site pressure mapping technology for use in assessment of seating systems.

Hippotherapy (Therapy with a Horse!)

This form of physical therapy utilizes the unique movement patterns of a horse to challenge and improve a child’s postural strength, neurological function, and sensory processing, all of which can be generalized into daily living skills. We provide this fun and interactive form of therapy at UpReach Therapeutic Riding Center in Goffstown, NH.

Adjunct Therapies

Our staff also provides a variety of additional therapies, including: Partial Weight-Bearing Treadmill Training, Vibration Therapy, Pediatric Fitness Training, Plyometrics, and much more!

Life Skills Program

Our Life Skills Program meets twice weekly to support and educate young adults in basic life skills, including food preparation, basic household management, personal organization, and social skills. We look to provide a positive environment, which prepares participants to live, work and enjoy life in their home and community.

School-Based & Contracted Services

We provide physical therapy services to schools throughout central New Hampshire, working with students and their educational team to maximize educational outcomes. We provide consultative services to health care centers, area agencies, the State of NH Department of Health and Human Services, and local universities.

Aquatic Therapy

A physical therapy intervention that utilizes key components of water (i.e. resistance, buoyancy, and of course FUN) to achieve functional outcomes, promote independence and build confidence. Children work with our therapists at a local indoor pool.  This treatment modality is currently on hold due availability of an appropriate pool setting.

Bicycle Training

Whether your child is utilizing an adaptive bike or is learning to ride without training wheels, our staff is up to the task. We have many therapists experienced in working with children with special needs on bicycle riding. We work with riders on an on-going basis, but also offer our annual Bike Camp each June. Bike Camp is an intensive 3-day program designed to assist children in “losing the training wheels.” If your child has been trying for a long time to ride without training wheels, but cannot quite achieve their goal, for whatever reason, we may be able to help. We practice riding skills, share training tips, and have lots of fun!

FUNFIT Fitness Groups

Small groups of children or young adults with similar, long-term fitness goals meet regularly with therapists to participate in an exercise program. The program is designed to provide fun and appropriate fitness opportunities for the participants, along with meaningful peer interactions.
